A living missional church dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel in rural, poor and needy communities across Ghana — bringing the lost back to God through Christlife.
The Trinitarian Church (TTC) began as an evangelical mission ministry — Trinity Reforms Ministry (TRM) — on 9th August 2016, founded by Rev Francis Yaw Akron Mensah, Edgar K Ameyibor, Kwame Kumi-Ayesu and Ebenezer Kwadwo Osei at KAS Valley, Oyibi, Accra, Ghana.
On 1st January 2020, the Trinitarian Church of Ghana (TCG) was officially founded at Abotoase in the Oti Region with 17 members — souls won from the village through faithful evangelism. Today, TCG stands as a growing family of believers reaching communities that rapid urbanization and anti-Christ doctrines have left behind.
We believe the church of Christ is not called to sit and invite the world — but to go and seek the lost, planting churches and extending social intervention to the poor and needy across Ghana.
The Trinitarian Church of Ghana is established to live out the purpose of the Church of Christ and Christianity as Partners in God's Mission — to bring the lost back to God through Christlife (Born Again).
The Trinitarian Church is a living missional church on the mandate of God's Great Commission Command — going into communities, proclaiming the Gospel, and partnering God in His redemptive purpose for the salvation of mankind.
To have souls prepared as Christians — Born Again, living in Christ-life, growing in grace and truth — ready for eternal life by the arrival of Christ. We present Christianity as continuity of God, answering the cultural and spiritual questions of every people.
Our mission flows from the very heart of the Triune God. We do not merely invite the world into our church buildings — we go into every community, engaging culturally rooted questions with the transforming power of the Gospel, embodying God's love, truth, justice and mercy in persons and not just in words.
God, as creator, perseveres in love — ruling overall and seeking in Christ to reconcile a fallen world to Himself. The mission of His people is to work as servants and partners in His redemptive mission.
Only through the death and resurrection of the incarnate Son of God is there salvation. Christ's life and ministry is the pattern for all valid Christian activity — embodying love, truth, justice and mercy.
The mission of God's people is under the direction of God's Spirit. We seek sensitivity to the Spirit's guidance — alert to where He is already at work, empowered by Him for life and witness.
God called His people to be blessed and to be a blessing to all families of the earth. Every believer who knows God's work in their life is called as God's partner — an agent of His purpose for the world.
All peoples are created in God's image and loved by Him. We seek ways that empower communities to follow Christ in their own distinctive ways — honouring their language, culture and context.
God's redemptive work extends to every part of life. Mission is concerned with positive social change, justice, individual transformation, and the whole of creation — in time and in eternity.
Our assemblies are planted in communities where the Gospel is most urgently needed — rural regions and growing urban areas across Ghana.
The founding assembly of TCG, established 1st January 2020 with 17 souls won from Abotoase (CK Village). The birthplace of the Trinitarian Church of Ghana's ministry in the Oti Region.
Located at the ministry's home at Oyibi in Accra, this assembly serves as the hub of TCG's administrative and mission operations, hosting the Good News Seminary and national leadership.
A growing congregation in the Volta Region, established as part of TCG's deliberate mission to reach rural communities experiencing rapid cultural shifts and spiritual vulnerability.
The Trinitarian Church is a Reformed Classical Pentecostal Church — blending the devotion of Methodism, the order of Presbyterianism, and the fire of the Apostolic tradition. Our liturgical services overflow with local hymns, choral praise, adoration, clapping, drumming, dancing, testimonies, Bible study, and healing ministries.
The teaching of the Word of God — about the Power of the Cross, the Gospel, and Jesus Christ Himself — stands above all things in our services. Members are greeted and strengthened with: "Amen", "Praise the Lord", "Hallelujah" throughout every gathering.
The Trinitarian Church of Ghana is a Reformed Pentecostal church carrying the apostolic tradition. Our doctrine is grounded in the Holy Scriptures and the historic Christian faith — Trinitarian, evangelical, and missional to the core.
We believe in one Holy God eternally existing in three persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our faith in the Triune God is the absolute foundation of our mission ministry. The worship of God as Trinity does not arise from speculative philosophy, but from the very heart of the Gospel narrative.
The Bible is the sacred Word of God and stands at the central position of our liturgy, teaching and governance. It is our supreme authority in all matters of faith, doctrine and practice. Scripture commands us to fast, pray, go, love and proclaim — and we obey.
Only through the death and resurrection of the incarnate Son of God is there salvation for humankind. We preach a holistic Gospel that answers the spiritual, social, political and economic questions of our communities — liberating the whole person through Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit has primacy in the faith of TCG. We believe in the Spirit's power for healing, deliverance, prophecy and spiritual warfare. The Spirit directs our mission, empowers our witness and gives victory in all spiritual conflict. We are a Spirit-led, Spirit-empowered people.
We celebrate Holy Communion 12 times a year — monthly — with quarterly services preceded by a Love Feast on the Saturday before. In the Lord's Supper, believers partake of Christ's body and blood not physically but spiritually, nourished by faith with the benefits He obtained through His death and resurrection.
We firmly believe the Gospel cannot oppose culture — neither can culture oppose the Gospel. TCG presents Christianity as an answer to culturally rooted questions, meeting people in their own language and context. Christ is the Christ of Culture and the Christ of Christianity — inseparably one.
The Trinitarian Church holds three annual sessions of corporate fasting and prayer — 42 days in total each year — for thanksgiving, breakthrough, renewal of relationship with God, and preparation for eternal life with Christ.
Fasting in Trinitarian is not merely for material blessing, but for a continuously deepening relationship with God — appreciating His love and care, and maintaining our salvation towards the coming of Christ.
Thanksgiving for God's grace into a New Year; petition for breakthrough in the year entered and beyond. Declared by the General Council at the start of each year.
Thanksgiving for navigating the half year; review of our walk with God; petitioning God's presence and power to carry us through to the end of the year in victory.
Thanksgiving for completing another year; petition for God's clearance, grace and protection as we enter the New Year — climaxing in the Triumphant Entry Watch Night.
Beyond Sunday worship, the Trinitarian Church nurtures every member through strategic apostolic teaching, discipleship, shepherding and vibrant ministry groups. Every assembly is equipped to grow its people spiritually, socially and in faithful service to God and community.
Strategic apostolic weekday teaching services are held at all local assemblies, with a Non-Denominational Traveling Teaching Service Ministry operating nationwide at designated churches. Bible Study, Prayer Groups and Shepherding form the core of every member's spiritual development journey.
Caring pastoral oversight of all members — ensuring no one is lost, overlooked or unsupported in their walk with God.
Systematic study of Scripture, growing every believer in knowledge, faith and practical Christian living.
Dedicated prayer groups interceding for the church, the nation and the world — the spiritual backbone of all TCG ministries.
Extending God's love beyond the walls of the church — meeting felt needs, welcoming newcomers and serving communities.
Worshipping God through local hymns, choral praise, adoration and music — enriching every service with the sound of His people.
Creating a warm, orderly and welcoming atmosphere at every service — the first face of TCG's hospitality to all who enter.
Gender-specific fellowships for growth, mentorship, support and solidarity — building strong families and strong communities.
Purposeful, activity-based programmes for the next generation — raising young people grounded in Christ-life and Kingdom values.
Telling the story of God's work through TCG — managing communications, publications and outreach across all media channels.
Mobilising resources to sustain the mission — funding outreach, community development and the expansion of TCG assemblies.
Holistic mission in action — addressing poverty, healthcare, education and social needs in rural and urban communities.
Spirit-led ministry of healing, prayer and deliverance — demonstrating the full power of the Gospel to restore and set free.
